    • Water container or storage. It is the container where the water is stored and connected to the inlet and outlet of the pipe, the energy captured in the collector is stored in the form of hot water and when water is required, it is extracted from the container and filled with water. cold water, the tank is thermally insulated to avoid heat loss and keep the hot water as long as possible.
    • Work system. Are all the pipes, pumps, stopcocks and accessories needed by the solar heater in the home installation.


    The mode of operation of a solar heater is as follows: The solar heater must be installed in an area of ​​the roof of the house where it can directly receive the sun’s rays as long as possible. The internal system of the heater is composed of a series of pipes through which the water circulates through an effect called «thermosyphonic» which causes the temperature difference between cold water and hot water, hot water rises faster and in a natural way where in the end it is deposited in storage.

    The water is transported from the storage to the hydraulic installation of the house by means of pipes so that they can reach the furniture depending on the use that is required (sink, shower, laundry).

    The water used for the solar heater is fully potable water and can be used for personal hygiene and housework, if we live in a place with times of high heat and sun in the year we will have much greater availability of hot water, however Before installing a solar heating system we must make an analysis of our daily hot water consumption in order to choose the solar water heater with the ideal water storage that satisfies our hot water requirements.
